A performance art 'happening'

If you find the painting above breathtaking, then play the Youtube teaser below to witness a live art 'happening' (look out for a full video release, including an interview and live footage, later this month). This way of creating can bring out the most amazing results - whether it's in a group or solo setting - and this example from Rebecca Corn has got our eyes dancing and our brains ticking!

Rebecca is a multi-disciplined mixed media and mixed medium artist. She includes psychotherapy and peace building themes within dance, music, poetry, sculpture and performance. Her work is attracting attention - especially since being selected as one of nine up-and-coming artists showcased by the Royal Opera House's "What's Next?" exhibition last October.
She was one of 30 artists selected for the In Art We Trust Summer Show 2013, and in addition was specially requested to perform this happening on the final day. This piece is Rebecca's celebration of the human spirit. She describes it as an interpretation of ideas of love and pride through the messy chaos of existence.
She said:
"It's about human resilience, how we find connection, with ourselves, with each other, with the things that speak to our soul - like music or dance or painting - and how this helps us find a path through life despite all the injustices, the vulnerability, objectification and violence"
A wonderfully talented lady - go show your support and get involved somehow because all of us want to after seeing this!
